　　主研方向:一直致力于前列腺癌早期診斷，前列腺癌微創(chuàng)手術為主導的綜合治療以及前列腺癌早期診斷技術和轉(zhuǎn)移的分子機制等方面研究。

　　社會兼職:衛(wèi)生部內(nèi)鏡與微創(chuàng)專業(yè)技術全國考評委員會全國泌尿科內(nèi)鏡與微創(chuàng)專業(yè)委員會主席、中華醫(yī)學會泌尿外科分會全國委員、廣東省泌尿外科學會副主任委員;《中華腔鏡泌尿外科雜志》主編。

　　醫(yī)療專長:能夠熟練診治泌尿系統(tǒng)疑難疾病, 尤其擅長前列腺疾病的微創(chuàng)治療;2000年在國內(nèi)完成首例腹腔鏡前列腺癌根治術，目前在國內(nèi)報道病例數(shù)最多;積極創(chuàng)新手術方式，如開展保留性神經(jīng)和控尿神經(jīng)的腹腔鏡前列腺癌根治術;開展神經(jīng)電生理監(jiān)測數(shù)字化的腹腔鏡下前列腺癌根治術，開展單孔腹腔鏡前列腺癌根治術;開展經(jīng)膀胱單孔腹腔鏡下前列腺癌根治術等。

　　獲獎情況:2011年廣東省科學技術獎一等獎：前列腺癌的分子診斷與微創(chuàng)治療 (排名第一)

　　2006年廣東省科學技術獎三等獎，2008年教育部科技成果二等獎：腹腔鏡泌尿外科成形與切除手術的臨床研究及應用推廣(排名第一)
